BUILDING A COMMUNITY

HOME-LIKE ENVIRONMENT
Victory Homes is a community-based sober environment with a structured support program, guiding individuals to recover and not just fall back into the system. Guests play a huge part in our program as we offer leadership and guidance to become self-sufficient in their transition. Guests can perform day-to-day responsibilities like property maintenance and housekeeping.
Each home is in good repair, clean, and is well maintained. Appliances are functional and free of fire and safety hazards and comply with the city health and safety codes. The furnishings provided are cozy and comfortable so that guests feel at home opposed to institutional settings. Each room has 50+ sq. ft per bed per sleeping room, and guests are provided with a private closet area for their belongings. Homes have one full bathroom and one half to share between guests. There is ample storage space in each home, where guests may choose to store food together or individually. A washing machine and dryer have been provided for guests to do their own laundry or make house arrangements to share the responsibility.
Not only do the individual houses of Victory Homes offer space large enough to accommodate all guests, but a Community Center separate from the houses has been provided behind the Harrison Street Community for Carson Park Rising AA Group meetings and fellowship. We encourage social engagement and have provided a recreational area, games, and other entertainment accessible to all guests. The Community Center is the location of our weekly meetings and family meal on Sundays, from 4:00 to 6:00. Guests are encouraged to work together choosing and preparing the family meal.

Accountability
We believe accountability is its own reward.
At Victory Homes, our guests know the expectations: attend meetings, maintain employment, follow house rules, and stay committed to their recovery journey. While breaking rules ultimately only hurts the individual, we also believe in recognizing those who consistently do the right thing.
To encourage and celebrate positive choices, we've started offering giveaways for guests who remain compliant and engaged in the program.
So far, we've been able to give away:
🏈 McCracken County Football Discount Coupon Books
🏊 Noble Park Pool Season Passes
Recovery isn't just about avoiding consequences—it's about building a better life one decision at a time. We're proud of the men who continue showing up, doing the work, and holding themselves accountable every day.
